Megadyne Information Systems
Megadyne Information Systems (Megadyne) is an information technology and services company. Megadyne's business activities range from system development/integration, to professional services, to software products, and to process management.
Megadyne serves customers in many different industries, including both commercial firms and government agencies worldwide. As a result of unique expertise and specialized software products, Megadyne performs significant work in two vertical markets: insurance/health care and transportation/mass transit.
Megadyne, a California corporation, was founded in 1981. Headquarters are in Santa Monica, California.
By the end of 1985 several sizable projects were underway. These projects added expertise in developing and integrating large-scale systems. A particular focus was gained in both the transportation and insurance market sectors.
During this period, Megadyne assimilated an affiliated company and acquired all of the assets and on-going business of another. These acquisitions added quality software products and related technology.
Starting in California, Megadyne began to perform system integration projects for customers throughout North America, including California, New York, Colorado, Massachusetts, Ohio, Georgia, Florida, and Texas. Included in these was a multi-lingual project automating public transit information in Atlanta, Georgia as Atlanta hosted the Olympics.
Following its domestic success, Megadyne expanded into international markets. We performed projects automating public transit information in both London, ENG, United Kingdom and Sydney, NSW, Australia.
During this period our process management services business expanded. We formed a joint-venture company, InfoDirect Pty. Ltd., in Australia that won a multi-year, multi-million dollar process management contract to provide the electronic delivery of transit information in the greater Sydney area. We also formed a division, MetroServ, that won a similar contract to provide such information in Southern California.
Today Megadyne is an established and recognized information technology and services company. From this notable base, we are positioned to expand our products and services into the global marketplace.
The products and services of Megadyne organize into four categories: (1) system development/integration, (2) software products, (3) professional services, and (4) process management.

Megadyne markets several unique software products, as well as related marketable technology.
